Chosen randomly, a handful of young adults were
hired for one job. That was bringing an abandoned,
joyless amusement park back to popularity, after
a horrifying accident that killed countless passeng
ers on a thrilling roller coaster one night. Since th
en, nobody has wanted to set foot in the place, ca
using it to lose money. Like anyone else, the new
employees are scared, yet the famous park could
n't just be left in the dust, could it? As the group
—rather reluctantly, of course—worked to fix it
up, by advertising, testing rides (with the essent
ial emergency equipment), and whatever else th
ey could do, a hidden secret is uncovered. Within
the metal fences, many ghosts reside—some vic
tims of the accident, and others that just decided
to call the amusement park home. (Work in prog

For Perfect Masks.

❝ I'M WAITING, I'M ACHING━SUFFOCATING !! ❞

The warm, childish façade that Zinnia mastered is enough
to keep her hidden from The Program—for a short while,
at least—but not enough to fill the empty voids within her.
Without an inkling of a reason to live, she keeps her extr
emely unstable emotions inside her, only pouring them
out when she is certain that she won't be flagged. This
often happens in the form of a violent fight, though Zin
nia is battling the cruel voices in her head rather than
another person.

Ever since the Program's heartless handlers snatched her
four friends away, Zinnia began to lose everything that
made her feel whole. She remembers the day she was
able to revisit them, but with their blank memories, gh
ostly figures and shaved heads, they seemed like stran
gers. Just lifeless, walking corpses, who failed to recog
nize Zinnia. They had been strangled by the depression
epidemic, and the blonde was sure that the same thing
would happen to her, as throughout the next couple m
onths, symptoms of the illness started to show up. Pan
ic attacks, suicidal thoughts, internal voices, and self-
harming habits. Zinnia had become a victim.

She turned to alcohol, smoking, and reckless activities,
which only lasted for so long until she went right back
home on several different nights, and self-harmed. Zin
nia did this for long periods of time in a small cabinet,
etching crimson-colored cuts into her pale skin. The
security cameras in her home didn't capture her repe
ated actions, only footage of her climbing in and out
of the tiny space—her cuts hidden under thick clothi
ng. Zinnia's grades slipped, and she constantly lied
on the daily surveys that asked how she was feeling
at school. The female never dared to tell the truth,
and she still finds it more dangerous than lying.

Over all, Zinnia doesn't really have a positive outlo
ok on life, but deep down she desires happiness and
freedom. She is pretty quirky if she's not worrying
about the Program, and a real bitch at times, too.
